This Good Shepherd image is one of the more recognizable sculptures in the Washington National Cathedral. When asked to create a smaller version for the WNC, while capturing details as closely as possible, the votive format was added. The candle's light casts a warm spiritual glow over the entire sculpture reminding us the Good Shepherd is always near! It can sit on a table top or hang on a wall. This lovely votive can also be used as a holy water font.
I bought this as a gift for my doctor who is retiring....I love it sitting in my house ....when I look at it I know that I am NEVER lost.......
