I love all my Carruth Studio sculptures, but I was surprised that this one has a flat back. I saw that it had a hook but it didn't occur to me that it would not be fully 3 dimensional. Instead of putting it on a table in my garden, I might use it as a bookend Here is a photo of the back so people can decide for themselves if it will work for them.
It is a perfect addition to our Carruth collection.

Fell in love with this frog the first time I saw it. It is adorable. My only wish, like another customer posted, is that it was not flat on the back. After all, he is sitting on a ball!
Only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is I don’t think it made it apparent that it was not three dimensional. It is flat on the back. There wasn’t a side or back view so it looked entirely round. The quality and detail is still 5 stars. But pi probably would have chosen a different frothed I known. One that is too sly three dimensional. I will still purchase more items. I love some many of the designs and the quality is great!

Love this small whimsical sculpture! Was going to use outside but can't bear to see anything happen to it so it will stay safely indoors. Despite the hanger on the back it looks great sitting in my bookcase guarding my flower frog collection.

Perfect gift. The recipient loved his attitude. Though if I could fix one thing I do wish the was a version that did not have the flat back for hanging. As he is sitting in a flower bed we positioned him to hide his rear.
