I own many Carruth pieces and have been to the studio several times. Fell in love with Critter Cottage - it inspired a fairy garden. I did put a light wash of color on all the critters and the tea cup. Shipping took 2 days to get here. Beautiful piece - as they all are!
The craftsmanship is exquisite and the packaging is superb. I will most definitely continue to purchase from this company!
The critter cottage is wonderful. I’ve gotten many things through the years from Carruth Studio and always find them to be excellent. The critter cottage is part of a small fairy garden, and I’ve already added two more pieces from the collection. I’m looking forward to adding even more. I highly recommend both this item and all the rest from Carruth Studio.

I received my “Critter Cottage” today and was shocked to see it is only a plaque and not a cottage. I read the reviews and saw one other person was misled as well. I purchased it for my woodland garden and it is out of place as a plaque. It is lovely on the front as long as I don’t look at it from the back. I suggest it be renamed Critter Cottage plaque.
