Solar Eclipse Commemorative Sun Stone

The Sun Stone was chosen as one of the designs to commemorate the total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024. The text “Solar Eclipse 4.8.24” is engraved directly into the stone prior to applying the stain. The rising sun seems to change moods depending which direction light is cast on this sculpture.
